3. Using the Deck as a guide, place masking tape over the top edge of the case in alignment with the side mounting holes of the Deck, and mark the position (front to back) of that mounting hole.
6. Attach the Deck mounting brackets (7) using the supplied #4-40 x 3/8" screws inserted from the outside of the case, through the holes you just drilled.

NOTE: The brackets are not symmetric - make sure you have the correct side attached to the case. See pictures to identify proper orientation.

MOUNTING THE DECK TO THE RIDGID CASE

2. Place the Deck Mounting Tool against the side of the case and slide it forward until it stops against the angled front corner. The pointed end of the Tool should face toward the OUTSIDE of the case and rest firmly on top of the edge of the case.

Drill through the TOP hole of the Mounting Tool using an 1/8" bit.

Repeat for the front corner bracket support on the opposite side.

4. Place the Deck Mounting Tool against the side of the case and align the point of the Tool with the mark you made on the masking tape. Again, the pointed end of the Tool should face toward the OUTSIDE of the case and rest firmly on top of the edge of the case.

Drill through the TOP hole of the Mounting Tool using an 1/8" bit.

Repeat for the side bracket support on the opposite side.

SIDE - TO CASE

7. After connecting all Deck cabling, insert the Deck into the Case and attach with the remaining #4-40 x 3/8" cap hex screws.

TIP: Make sure the Case is sitting on a hard flat surface to prevent the Case from twisting and making it more difficult to lineup the screw holes in the Deck.

ATTACHING BRACKETS TO THE CASE

5. Place the Deck Mounting Tool against the front the case and align the center of the Tool with the center of the case (side to side). Note that there is a distinct molding line in the exact center of the case, so no need to measure to find the center.

The point of the Tool should face toward the INSIDE of the case (opposite of all other holes) and rest firmly on top of the edge of the case.

Drill through the BOTTOM hole of the Mounting Tool using an 1/8" bit.

NOTE: Unlike all other brackets, this front center bracket does NOT directly attach to the Deck - it sits lower in the case and acts as a rest to support the bottom of the Bump Controller.

TOP - TO DECK

1. Place the Deck Mounting Tool against the back of the case, just outside of the vertical divider slots. The pointed end of the Tool should face the OUTSIDE of the case and rest firmly on top of the edge of the case.

Drill through the TOP hole of the Mounting Tool using an 1/8" bit.

Repeat for the back bracket support on the opposite side.

NOTE: The bit will also contact the back flange of the case - drill through that back flange also as it makes it easier to get a hex driver on the screw.
